So how far will certain anti second amendment people go? I guess as far as it takes. As far as calling for a press conference and asking for as many sheriffs as they can get to meet on the state house lawn and continue to propagate a lie.
"It is ABSOLUTELY IMPORTANT to have at least one (or more) UNIFORMED DEPUTY from each county in the State in attendance."
So now we are going to pull deputies off duty to lobby against the Alabama citizens! Is this becoming "them" verses "us"?
Voters....remember this next sheriff election!

Subject: PRESS CONFERENCE: WEDNESDAY - APRIL 26, 2017
IMPORTANT ~ IMPORTANT ~ IMPORTANT
A Press Conference is set for 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 26, 2017, on the South Lawn of the Alabama Capitol in front of the Memorial Statue to the Fallen Police Officer.
It is ABSOLUTELY IMPORTANT to have at least one (or more) UNIFORMED DEPUTY from each county in the State in attendance.
This press conference is to set the record straight that protection for the lives of the citizens of Alabama is the reason to have background checks on anyone who desires to hide a weapon under their clothes and the issuance of a permit is the only way to receive the information needed to do a background check from the application submitted.
Following the press conference, the House Public Safety & Homeland Security Committee will meet in the State House and I have asked for a public hearing on HB414. The room number will be announced at the press conference.
Do not let us down - Be there.
Chiefs of Police, Police Officers, District Attorneys, etc., will be in attendance.
I need a count from each of you before noon today (Monday - April 24, 2017).
How many will be there? That’s not a hard question to answer.
Captain Allen Treadaway, Chairman, and Major Allen Farley, Vice Chairman, are who I’m reporting to.
